Safely Burn Pillar Candles

Unlike container candles, pillars don't have a built in device to catch any melted wax that might spill over the sides. They should be burned on a candle holder or anything heat resistant surface with a raised lip around the sides to prevent spillover. This may happen for a variety of reasons; burning too long, wick was not trimmed, fan blowing on the candle, moving a burning or hot candle, etc. All of our candles have the following Caution Sticker attached to the packaging.
